Which image formats can I drop here?

What happens when I pick a format?

Can I make images smaller or change their size?
Yes. Compress image, Compress JPEG and Compress PNG reduce file size, and Resize image fits pictures inside a maximum width and height. JPEG to JPG only changes the extension.
Can I turn a picture into a vector SVG?
PNG, JPG and WebP images can be traced into SVG shapes. Tracing suits logos, icons and line art much better than photos.
Which format should I convert to?
JPG for photos that need to open anywhere, PNG for screenshots and anything with transparency, and WebP or AVIF when small files matter on a website.
