Does converting MOV to MP4 lower the quality?
No. MP4 to MOV, MOV to MP4 and MKV to MP4 move the video and audio streams into the new file as they are, without encoding them again, so nothing is lost.
Can I make a GIF from a video?

Can I keep just the sound from a video?
