Converted on your device. Files are never uploaded.
Up to 20 files at a time.
Split a PDF when you only need part of it, such as one chapter to share, a single signed page, or a long scan cut into sections. FormatJet saves each page or page range as its own PDF in your browser, so the pages stay unchanged and your file never leaves your device.

Questions
Can I split a PDF into one file per page?
Yes, that’s what happens by default. A 12-page PDF becomes 12 separate PDFs, which you can download one at a time or as a ZIP.
How do I split a PDF by page ranges?
Enter ranges in Options, such as 1-3, 4-6. Each range becomes one PDF, so that example gives you two files.
How do I extract a single page?
Split with the default setting, then download only the page you need. Files are named after the original and the pages, such as report-page-2.pdf, or report-pages-1-3.pdf for a range.
Does splitting change the pages?
No. Each page is copied into the new PDF as it is, keeping its text, images and layout exactly as they were.
Is my PDF uploaded to split it?
No. Your browser copies the pages into new files on your device, so a bank statement or long report never leaves it. The counter under the file list shows 0 bytes uploaded.
