Questions
How do I put the PDFs in the right order?
Each file in the list has move-up and move-down buttons. Arrange the PDFs, then press “Merge PDFs”, and the pages of each file follow in that order.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
At least two and up to 20 at a time, free and without signing up. Together they can be up to 200 MB.
Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied over as they are, so text stays selectable and images aren’t compressed again.
Are bookmarks kept when I merge?
No. All the pages carry over, but the bookmarks (the outline) from the original files don’t.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
Remove its password first, then add it to the list. A PDF that needs a password to open can’t be merged until then.
